Light has 4 intensity levels. We plan to switch over to led lighting as much as possible to save on electricity. It is a pleasant light spectrum.
I have two of these lamps, one by my computer and one in the den next to my big chair. Especially useful when I want to multi-task: e.g. watch nascar with my husband while knitting: the light does not disturb him.
It’s easy to stick together, all the adjustments actually work: it holds its pose. The base is heavy and stable; because it is thin and pancake flat, I can use it as a tray to put things on that I am actively using, so it doesn’t feel like it’s taking up space.
I highly recommend this, having already bought two. Since it comes with a clamp as an option, it is versatile.
